Delete your Peelmeal account.
You can delete your Peelmeal account from inside the app. If you cannot access the app, you can contact us and we will help with the request after verifying the account.

Delete your account in the app
Open Peelmeal on your iPhone or Android device, then:
- Open Settings from the app.
- Scroll to the bottom of Settings.
- Tap Delete account, or Clear local data if you are using guest access.
- Read the warning and type DELETE when asked.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
If the app says you need to sign in first, sign in or restore your Peelmeal session, then return to Settings and delete the account there.
What deletion removes
Account deletion removes the active Peelmeal account and the private app data tied to it, including:
- saved recipes, recipe photos, tags, notes, favorites, and source attribution;
- meal plans, shopping items, cook sessions, cook logs, and app settings;
- private account profile data held by Peelmeal;
- Peelmeal quota and feature-use records tied to that account;
- public recipe snapshots created by that account, if public sharing has been enabled.
Deletion is permanent. We do not offer a restore window for deleted accounts.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your Peelmeal account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Stores manage billing directly, so you must cancel the subscription in the store account that billed you if you do not want future charges.
- On iPhone or iPad, open Apple Settings, tap your Apple Account, then Subscriptions.
- On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions.
If you cannot access the app
Email admin@peelmeal.com with the subject "Delete my Peelmeal account". If your account is linked to Apple or Google, contact us from the same email address where possible.
Please include:
- the email address linked to your Peelmeal account, if any;
- whether you used Apple, Google, or guest access;
- a short note saying you want the account and associated app data deleted.
We may ask for extra verification before deleting a linked account. If the account was guest-only and you no longer have the device or active app session, we may not be able to identify that anonymous account from an email alone.
We aim to complete verified email deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. We will confirm when the request has been completed.
What may remain for a limited time
After deletion, Peelmeal no longer serves your private account data from the active app service. Some records may remain for a limited time where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, accounting, backups, or service integrity.
These retained records are not used to restore the deleted account or to show your recipes in the app.
